Poetry is my therapy. When I have difficulty figuring out what I think, feel the need to make a statement, or simply need to purge some emotion I write. I write to exercise my brain. Mr. Winters, wherever you are, thank you for introducing me to a thesaurus in 9th grade English. I’ve been a single parent (before and after), married and divorced, and now have my best friend and resident pain in the ass. I love you Dave. I have three amazing children, Tristan, Casey and Ayla. To borrow a line from some famous person my family puts the FUN in dysFUNctional! I love you guys!
