i love it here, its very welcoming and clean. it looks like theres a strong community because whenever i walk in, theres always some kind of event which is nice to see in a bookstore. wide selection of books, music, and games! fun to look around and enjoy the place. the employees are nice and always willing to chat for a few 🙂
As you enter you feel the vibes of books. That is the first thing I loved about this library, was the romantic section since I love reading romance! The staff members were so nice and friendly. They helped me out with a specific book I was looking for. Then, the Spanish books were nice and had a good variety of genres. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because it doesn’t have a restroom for customers.
Love it! They have classics and the booktok trends, author events and storytimes for kids on the weekends. Booksellers read in a lot of genres (romance, fiction, fantasy, business …) always someone to chat with to get good recommendations … even other customers! The Union store is smaller, but still has all of the best sellers like the bigger stores.
A more streamlined Barnes & Noble than I’m used to but still great to see them around.nnI grew up spending so many hours inside Borders and Barnes & Nobles around NJ. It looks like they’ve changed around the concept so instead of a big or multilevel store, this B&N is instead a single story, cozier concept that’s still recognizable as a bookstore.nnThey do have seats here and there, but this location doesn’t have a cafe.nnThey’re within a strip mall with easy access from local or highway.nnAll in all it’s nice to see bookstores still finding a way to keep going even if there’s a lot less space to lounge and read or do work.
A redesigned Barnes & Noble, maybe trying to feel more modern or stay relevant, but it lacks the warmth and comfort of the classic design. Worse, though, is that they don’t have a bathroom for customers. Do you want people to feel comfortable to stay and browse, or not? They send people to a nearby (unaffiliated) store, which I’m sure the staff there would not appreciate.
