This place is great! They have a huge selection of all kinds of books, a beautiful website, and the most efficient way of picking a format of the book desired. I got a better deal than I was in expecting on a companion book for one previously. I’ll definitely keep my membership.
It appears to be a great deal to get unlimited access to audiobooks and ebooks and language courses free for 30 days! After that, it's just 25 dollars a month. It's easy to sign up. I hope it's just as easy to cancel if needed.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I decided to try them out and never again. Their selection of books was not great and when I tried to cancel my subscription despite trying 5 times they still tried charging my card. You can not get in touch or speak with an actual person. Just an AI bot that says it understands how you feel and how frustrating this must be and they expedite your request to the customer support. For some reason I could not block them on my account from being able to take the money out so I had to cancel my debit card altogether and order a new one.
Terrible customer service, it's a major hassle to try and cancel, seems as though they rely on poor communication and difficult hurdles for revenue to keep people paying for the service after they try to cancel. Switched to audible and ended up having a tremendously better experience for much cheaper, better quality audio and more user friendly apps. This comes about 4 months later if audible and I will be sticking with them. If youre on the fence on which app to go with highly recommend using audible!
I was charged by All You Can Books without ever authorizing a subscription. I never received a single email confirming an account, a free trial, billing, or recurring charges. There was absolutely no paper trail until I noticed the charges on my bank account.nWhen I contacted customer service to report the charges as unauthorized and request a refund, the only response I received ignored the issue entirely and instead sent a promotional sales email encouraging me to keep the subscription and browse their catalog. They did not address how my payment information was obtained or provide any proof of authorization.nThis experience raises serious concerns about billing practices and how unauthorized charges are handled. I would strongly caution others to monitor their bank statements closel
