As a thriller and romance author, I enjoy escaping to the local Barnes & Noble. This Barnes & Noble sits in a perfect spot to enjoy a quiet bookstore escape. As a thriller and romance author, I really like this layout. It pulls you deeper into the building instead of opening wide from the start, and it almost feels like stepping into one of the adventures I write about.nnThe small café with drinks and pastries is a great touch. It sits just past the entrance on the left and creates a relaxed pocket to take a break. This location also has cards, magazines, and plenty of extras, which makes it fun to wander.nnThe children’s section is tucked all the way in the back, which makes it feel separate and intentionally designed. It gives families a space to explore without taking over the whole store.nnParking is totally ample, and access is simple thanks to the 163 and Friars Road. It makes dropping in easy, even during busy hours.nnThe staff is super friendly and always attentive.

Great place to read books quietly or grab a delicious Starbucks coffee. It’s the perfect cozy spot to take a date for some quality time or hang out with friends browsing shelves and chatting. Love the atmosphere! ☕📚❤️❗️Reccomend checking sale section for cheap stuff

We love coming here! The place is cozy, well-organized, and always has books my kids enjoy. It’s easy to find something new every time. They always have what we’re looking for. the whole vibe makes book shopping a great experience. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed with this Barnes & Noble compared to the stores I’m used to on the East Coast. While the store itself was clean, well organized, and staffed by knowledgeable employees, the overall experience fell short of the traditional “Barnes & Noble” feel.nnThere were no tables available to sit at, and only four chairs in the entire store. Those chairs were placed by the front windows, which made them uncomfortable to use due to how cold it was. I ended up going to the in-store Starbucks for a hot coffee, only to find that it was very small, had no seating at all, and—surprisingly—did not offer plain brewed coffee. They were limited to espresso drinks and cold brew. My wife ordered a latte, which was standard Starbucks quality, but nothing noteworthy.nnWe spent close to an hour browsing, and while the store functions well from a retail standpoint, it lacked the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere I associate with Barnes & Noble locations elsewhere. Overall, it’s a fine place to shop, but not a place to linger.
