The Book Loft Oak Park

This Shop is adorable. It’s warm and cozy, and exactly what you think of when you think of an independent book store! Staff is friendly and engaging and they will order anything if you cant find what you are looking for.n(They ended up ordering a few copies of a novel my book club selected)nIts a great place to spend a Saturday.nNote: children's section is excellent. (They were having story time, when i was there…)

The space is SO welcoming and comfortable to shop , browse and contemplate. I love the staff, as they are knowledgable and make fantastic suggestions. More than anything(?) but there is so much to enjoy about this place, is it is arranged in a thoughtful manner where all titles are easy to locate. A perfect and needed addition to Oak park.

A cozy book lovers dream has moved into Oak Park. Sophie and Heather are amazing and so kind. Our family loves this place and goes often!

Was so happy to see this new shop open in the location of the old Book Table. Every town needs its local bookstore! I used to work in publishing and this shop has an excellent mix of book titles so theres something for every reader. I love going to the kids section with my niece and nephew. The owners are so nice and really seem to care about the community.

Good to see a new independent bookstore in Oak Park, occupying a portion of the former Book Table space. Welcoming and helpful staff. Lovely, well-appointed space, pleasant to browse. The store's core strengths are in fiction and children's books, though the mix may change with the local market. Special orders handled quickly.
