A lovely store with great employees, especially for recommendations based on your reading theme and proclivity. They have a large collection of popular and eclectic books and themes along with merch from popular series. Ended up buying way too many books but a super fun afternoon spent.
A Bookstore with Serious Atmosphere!nnI finally had a chance to visit this Barnes & Noble while spending a few hours downtown, and I have to say—the building alone makes it worth checking out. Housed in the beautifully refurbished Noel State Bank, it has such a unique and stunning atmosphere that adds to the whole book-browsing experience.nnSelection-wise, I wouldn’t say it offers much more than the larger stores in the suburbs, but that didn’t stop us from doing some damage during the hardcover sale (it had been a while since my last book haul—no regrets!). The staff were super friendly and checked on us even though it was pretty busy. While I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to visit this location over a closer one, if you’re in the area and have some time, it’s absolutely worth stopping in at least once. A great spot for book lovers!
Visited from out of town. Definitely one of the nicest locations I’ve seen!! And I was able to find some good picks. They didn’t have a restroom but they directed us to the nearest one which was nice.
Franki is such a fun and helpful associate! I love that I can just walk in, tell them what I’m searching for, and leave with an armful of books (including some that weren’t even on my radar). Such a lively, lovely location. I’ll definitely be back!
The staff are great, very helpful. The selection is good — especially for recent books.nnBUT the seating is very inadequate. There is only one nice leather chair in the kids section and these benches up front, which are not comfortable or nice for browsing. It would be great if you could replace these benches with two pairs of welcoming chairs.
