While they do a fantastic job highlighting Latino and Los Angeles-based literature, their collection actually spans a wide range of genres, voices, and international authors. The owner, Jesse is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, and you can feel the passion he pours into curating and running this unique independent bookstore. Phenomenal store, wonderful proprietor, great prices. I was pleasantly surprised too discover a great variety of books for a store of it's size. The last time I was there, I bought books for kids, history, and a biography.

This is a really nice little independent book store. It seems focused on Latino and Los Angeles based literature but has many other types of books as well and a good deal of rare printings. The Jesse's (shop owners) I met there were very knowledgeable and welcoming. It seems to me that they put a great deal of time and energy into this business and so if you support that kind of thing, you owe it to yourself to go check it out.
