A very good selection of used books, CDs, DVDs, and some vinyl albums. They were helpful and placed an order for a book they didn't have and shipped it to my home address!

I have a learning disability that affects memory and comprehension, and while I understand I should have done more research on the value of what I was selling, I still feel I was taken advantage of. I was offered prices that were heavily unfair. I’m not asking for anything back, what’s done is done but after visiting a local card store, I learned that items I had been offered as little as $15 were actually worth close to $1,000. That experience made it clear to me that I was severely underpaid, and I won’t be selling here again. Maybe that's why they were so friendly….

Take all my money! This place has an awesome collection for book lovers, hobbyists, or to learn or explore new ideas. I went in out of curiosity not expecting to buy anything and left with 5 books on photography (@tinairie). Really cool place! The staff is also really friendly, theyve got records, stationary, and books of every kind

Whoever came up Half Price Books was a true book lover. This is gonna sound dumb, but the stickers come off like a dream. No sticky residue. No coming off in chunks. Just one beautiful peel and your book emerges completely untarnished. The store has a clearance section that is clearly marked and books are $7 or less there, for the broke book aficionados.nnSo that’s -all- HPB, not this one in particular. This one in particular had a hell of a selection, well organized and tempting as water in the desert. I worked with two staff: the first I asked help finding a specific section; he was awesomely knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful. Great job on that one. The second was the cashier that checked me out. That is a man that gets the love of books. I like people being in the right job, not just whoever was hiring but sought this out.nnI got four books for $20 (and change). “The Grapes of Wrath”, “Walden”, “Galactic Hot Dog”, and a -gorgeous- leatherbound Anton Chekov’s Two Plays that has a silk bookmark and color illustrations. She’s going to be a prize in my collection.nn100/10, I would give you every dollar I earned if you weren’t four hours away.
