I reached out to our sales rep 3 business days before the start of a new school year to order 2 spelling books. Within minutes, he had prepared a quote and got them ready to ship. Within an hour of initial contact, we had a signed purchase order and the books were on their way to our school. This is the high level of responsiveness and customer service I have learned to rely on with Walker Bookstore! It is always a pleasure doing business with them.

My book purchase arrived well wrapped and sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard. It's condition was actually better than advertised, a pleasant surprise. Their shipping form included a comment on additional available copies of the same text so I called to confirm. Their representative, Jakob, was very helpful in answering all of my questions. I'm pleased with the service and will look to them directly in the future.

I purchased a book from Barnes and Nobles which used Walker Bookstore as third party seller. When the package came after two weeks of wait, I could not recognize it. This package was a reused one with many scratches. The address, name and tag in many places was erased with black marker. The package had images of elementary vocabulary flashcards. I had been deceived before by unknown senders. So I returned the package in the Post Office. I did not receive any emails confirming that the package was delivered or that it was returned by me. When inquired I was told that I would not get refund for shipping as I had returned the package.nEven though the cost of shipping and handling was more than the cost of book sold by them, I got a poor service with a shoddy unrecognizable package. They did not apologize for the mistake or resolve the issue.nI lost money and time for the mistake done by Walker Bookstore.

They are a great resource for K-12 textbooks for any type of school setting – home, charter, religious, or public. They are super diligent about their ratings and quality control. They are a strong family owned and operated alternative to the Amazon machine and other re-sellers that don't pay close attention to keeping consistent/accurate condition ratings.
