BRING CASH! The Book Cellar is a hidden gem for book lovers. This volunteer‑run used bookstore is impressively well‑organized, with a wide selection and steady inventory thanks to generous book donations (only during their open hours!)nnLocated in the basement of the Webster Library, it’s a cozy spot to browse. While the hours can be limited, they do offer Sat hours, which makes it easier to visit!nnWhat makes it special is its role in the community—proceeds from sales benefit the library, so every purchase supports a good cause. Browsing is always enjoyable, and beyond books, the shop also sells used DVDs, adding even more variety.nnIt’s a wonderful find for the neighborhood and a place that rewards both readers and the community!

My favorite used bookstore in NYC! They have the best priced books I’ve seen so far and the quality is great. There’s a great selection of many different genres including sci-fi (which has been hard for me to find a good selection of used books). The staff are also very friendly and welcoming!!

Stumbled into this place while visiting town. It was so cute and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They had a ton of art, architecture, and coffee table books. I snagged a pile of books for a great price.

Extremely affordable used bookstore under the library! Sadly no sci-fi I was interested in, however they have a great selection of classics and other genres to sift through. I’d wager there is a book here for everyone.
