Posman Books

Posman Books is one of my favorite bookstores at Chelsea Market, and in NYC! I’ve been shopping here for years, and we always have a great experience! There is such a wide variety of books to look through, and I always love shopping for gifts and NYC related souvenirs here. They have great Jellycat selection in stock as well! The staff members are always friendly and welcoming every time we visit. It does get busy and somewhat crowded to walk through, but I always enjoy my experience. I highly recommend Posman Books!

Charming Chelsea Market bookstore packed with gifts for all ages—my daughter loved the Sonny Angels, and I left with Smiski treasures.

The shop is really cute with lots of great books and trinkets, however, the attitude of the workers was awful. There were 5 people ‘working’ behind the tills just chatting, and when I went to purchase my book none of them acknowledged my presence. Finally I was served by someone who continued their conversation with their coworker whilst serving me and treated me like a nuisance for trying to buy a book in a book shop!

They have a deep understanding of books and can provide expert recommendations and assistance❤️

Very fun, well-stocked store that’s much bigger than it looks. Great selection of books and gifts.
