Just a few steps away from the Rockefeller Christmas Tree, this bookstore truly feels magical. It’s an absolute MUST-visit for book lovers.nnThe staff recommendations are amazing: you really feel guided through the exploration, almost hand-held in the best way, and it makes you want to discover books you wouldn’t normally pick up.nnThe place is huge, with an excellent selection and very clear, thoughtful categorization. There’s also a reading corner where you can sit and take your time. The atmosphere is ideal for bookworms.nnThe only downside is that there’s no restroom.
This was my first time at McNally’s and I was amazed by the selection of book they had. I’m a huge advocate of sub-Saharan African literature and this was my first time seeing an entire shelf of African writers, outside of the African continent. Makayla was especially helpful and took the time to talk about how the section was curated. Her customer service was top-notch. I’ll definitely be returning because of how much of a help she was.
Love love love this bookstore. Just wish they would keep expanding their Spanish collection. They have a good selection but pretty small. I could spend hours and entire days in this bookstore, it’s beautiful and has some very interesting books. Love the staff picks!
A lively bookstore full of great titles and some really cute stationery and gifts. Oh, and the staff members were super nice and helpful.
Such a cool bookstore! I went by McNally Jackson Books Rockefeller Center while visiting NYC, and I had a great experience! The bookstore has two floors that are very well organized and have a wide variety of books for all book lovers. I also enjoyed looking through their stationary section. As you go up the stairs to the second floor, they have book recommendations based on staff favorites and their bestsellers. I really enjoyed seeing what their picks are. This was a great shop to go to while near Rockefeller Center to take a break from the crowds and look for the perfect book. I highly recommend McNally Jackson Books Rockefeller Center!
