Excellent bookstore. Just made it out for the first time yesterday and really appreciated how curated the selections were. You will not spend hours looking through old, dusty books just to find one title from the last 50 years…the staff knows what they are doing, and it shows! The environment is super cozy and you could spend some time reading in one of the comfy chairs by a window. Prices are higher than, say, a thrift shop, but the books are in better quality and more recent than titles you’d find elsewhere. 10/10! Can’t wait to go back! u2764ufe0f

Finally made it up to this bookstore- what a joy! Beautifully curated, with thoughtful book displays. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about their 1/3rd of the cost policy and how proceeds are donated to the Chestnut Hill library. This is one of the those bookstores that is both a neighborhood staple, and a nice space to sit and enjoy the books.

Very welcoming, great service, and great mission! Any book lover should stop by if they’re in the area. Got three newish copies for less than $20!

What a cute little book shop this is! Cozy vibe, friendly staff, and a big collection of used books of all genres, all for a fraction of their actual price. Book-lover heaven! u2764ufe0f

Love this place. A lovely old townhome now houses rows and rows of books, neatly arranged, with comfy chairs and art to boot. My daughter enjoys the children’s room, and I’ve found some lovely old illustrated books there. Prices are a bit higher than, say, a thrift store (1/3 of original price, I believe), but they have a great selection and accept credit cards, and proceeds go to a great cause. (And, honestly, just the good organization and light streaming through the window is worth the $.😜)
