The Specials…those that had survived the massacres of their clans ten years ago at the hands of the militarist group, the Organization. That’s what they called us… Special. My name is Aneli, and I am one of a few survivors of those attacks by the Organization. The rest of the world, well it’s in just as bad of shape. Mutated creatures flood the lands, Ancient Powers have weakened, people struggling just to eat… Even the magical energies that once guarded and ruled us have been forgotten by most of the world. However, we Specials…we know that power. We breathe it. We are descendants of those Ancient clans, and it is that bloodline that cost our families and our clans their lives. We have survived the last decade by training, honing our skills, but even now, with as powerful as we may have become, we are still not a match for the Organization. Eventually war will come, another to carve the history of our lands, and its inhabitants. In the final battle of Ancient power versus militaristic power, which will survive? That, I cannot tell you… But we will be here, waiting, hoping, for that day to arrive when we are powerful enough to reclaim our lands and our homes. Welcome to the Beginning.
