A Daughter’s Diary

The book “A Daughter’s Diary” expresses the beautiful emotional bond of a sweet father-daughter relationship. “Dr.Sia Singh”, the daughter was fortunate to spend special moments with an extraordinary person in her life, her father-“Late Dr. Naveen Singh”. She narrates that how her father’s ideals have influenced her and how he inculcated his values in her. No matter how hard the time may be or how worse the situation is, his teachings have guided her to be a better person. She being a different individual was loved to be called a “carbon copy” of her father. Being the apple of her father’s eye, she was forever very precious for him. Sia’s life had lots of twists and turns, out of them few being good and few being not so good. But in total these experiences have made her grow as a person and become a responsible individual. She was fortunate to be brought up with love and care of her family. But as they say, sometimes it takes sadness to know happiness, noise to appreciate silence and absence to value presence. One never realizes that small gestures, small talks in our daily routine can become a memory in future. The memories which one would like to re-live each time, just to relish that happiness once again and get relief from the pain. Sia lost the most important person from her life and here she shares her memories to express her love and respect for her dad. It’s her tribute to her father for being the ‘greatest’ dad in the world.
