It is an interactive Bible study resource consisting of stories, journaling opportunities and practical wisdom from seasoned Christian women. With a topical index and relevant scripture writings, young women are equipped with God’s Word in one simple and powerful book. Young women face enormous obstacles in regards to their sexual purity living in today’s secular world. Anneke has a God given burning desire to make a difference in their lives. I have seen her touch the hearts of countless young people with her gentle spirit and her wonderful sense of humor. She has a Spirit-led ability to speak the truth in love by being honest and real in a time when tolerance is preached and accepted. And the kids listen! I can only imagine the lives that will be affected through the ministry of this devotional. -Jodi Vosika Anneke is one of the fortunate few to discover their identity in Christ at an early age. God placed mentors and experiences in her life to encourage her faith and instruct her in the practice of spiritual disciplines. Having been nurtured and challenged during her early years, Anneke has a heart to boldly and lovingly challenge other young women to seek after God’s purposes and to pursue the opportunity to know Him in a deeper way. Whether in Christian Education, youth ministry, writing or speaking, her work is marked with touching stories, humor and wisdom that only God’s spirit can produce. Anneke resides in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, Dan and their three small children. They are active in their church’s post-modern outreach ministry. In addition to her writing, Anneke has worked with her mother, an artist and illustrator of children’s stories.
