They never expected to see each other again. Fourteen years later, when now FBI agent Craig Temple receives a telephone call from Annie Coleman, n�e Annick Sturmfeld – now a wife and mother of two who lives in Marietta, Georgia – he learns that what they did 14 years earlier is still not finished. And that the terrorists they once hunted are now hunting Annie, her children, even him. Annie tells him that her father, now the Fuhrer of a new and powerful international secret neo-Nazi organization, will use the forthcoming merger between one of Europe’s largest pharmaceutical company and a successful multi-billion-dollar American corporation as a vehicle for bringing their New Social Order to the United States. When Temple passes this information on to his Washington superiors, he discovers there are people highly placed within the government – possibly including the president – who are also part of this international conspiracy to bring down the American financial and industrial system. With their enemies now closing in on them, Temple, Annie and her family must run for their lives as they devise ways to bring the conspirators and the terrorists who hunt them out into the open while they seek the proof they need to expose them. In doing so, they discover why they never finished what they started in 1989 and what they must do now if they and those they love will ever be able to live without fear again.
