Naked Chicks Book 1

Why Naked Chicks? Naked, because these poems are brutally honest. They are the essence of my emotions. When you are naked, people see you exactly as you are, not how you portray yourself to be under a facade of clothing, designed to project an illusion of who you want people to believe you are. This collection of poems and song lyrics are totally naked. They are my raw emotions. Chicks, because each poem is new, fresh, young, exciting and uncontaminated by outside influences, just like tiny chicks. Now all of that sounds cool, but in reality I just want people to notice and enjoy my book of poetry. If the title was something like, “Feelings from the Depths of my Soul,” I am pretty sure not one person would even look at it. So I figured, give it a title like “Naked Chicks,” and tons of people will check it out. The truth is, I hope you find this book of poetry, entertaining, provoking, enlightening, and emotionally stimulating. This is Book I, of a trilogy, with books II and III to follow shortly. If you are one of the people who read my first book, “The Wild Adventures of Chuck Kikel”, you may be interested to know that some of these poems were written about some of the characters from that book. So sit back, relax, grab a drink, and enjoy this book.
