John Adams

This illustrated biography of John Adams is told through the eyes of his son, John Quincy Adams. This 52-page book received the Best of K-12 Award from the New England Book Show and the Parents’ Choice Gold Award. It tells the story of John Adams’ key vision and leadership in helping to obtain the Declaration of Independence, win the Revolutionary War with Great Britain, and form the new nation of the United States of America where he was the second President. The book is full of colored illustrations and Colonial artwork. The Boston Landmarks Orchestra set the words to music composed by Anthony DiLorenzo and narrated by David McCullough, the Pulitzer Prize winning author of John Adams, which was made into a companion CD.
