“After losing one of her longtime, favorite patients, Nurse Mallory Blue takes some much-needed time off in order to rethink her life. She decides to finally clean out her grandmother’s old theater, where Christmas was brought to life on stage each year. As she’s organizing her grandmother’s office, she finds a box of Christmas ornaments and a notebook detailing which memory was captured with each. Hollis would love to help Mallory get the theater back into tip-top shape, but he thinks the community theater should re-open, not close for good and be sold. Nan always made sure the kids in foster care were involved in the community plays, and some of Hollis’s best childhood memories are wrapped up in this beloved space. Determined, Hollis makes Mallory a deal that she can’t refuse.
